FaceValue is seeking an enthusiastic, meticulous, and wildly creative Visual Designer to join our team. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for an up and coming designer looking to work on a variety of different types of projects. 

As a member of the team you have the responsibility for the visual designs in our products by creating an attractive unified user experience that delivers a seamless flow to our customers and users. 

Collaborates with FaceValue's team to design responsive CSS, HTML, Javascript user friendly websites and templates. Delivers design concepts and specifications to in-house developers for implementation and supports user acceptance testing.

 

Required design skills  

• Strong understanding of composition, color, imagery, and typography as it relates to marketing and design
• Ability to maintain a consistent brand voice throughout designs
• Experience selecting photos for branding and influence; ability to enhance and edit photos accordingly
• Capable of designing visualizations that effectively convey the data while retaining a strong aesthetic
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS
• Ability to work quickly while maintaining a high attention to detail
• Understanding of motion design and how it merges with interaction design
• Demonstrates understanding of creating sitemaps, wireframes and mock-ups to visually present design concepts and information architecture 

Bonus skills

• Competence with email marketing campaigns and technologies
• Good illustration skills
• Experience designing infographics
• Experience working at a start-up with driven and passionate individuals
• Experience in HTML, CSS is a great plus
