When you use the FaceValue Site, we collect and use information that personally identifies you to provide you with access to our services, our people, and to superior customer support. We collect information about you in several ways, with the purpose of operating our websites and providing services that you have requested or authorized. For example, we might ask for your contact information when you express interest in a service. We may request your email address to provide you with important information about the service you have purchased. We may also collect information about the pages you visit on our website to help us improve the Site, analyze trends, and maintain the Site. We merge Site-visitation data with anonymous demographic information for research purposes. We may also use your personal information to contact you to participate in a market research survey, so that we can gauge customer satisfaction and develop better products. FaceValue collects information about your visits to our Site, such as the name of your Internet service provider (ISP) and the Internet Protocol (IP) address you use to access the Internet. We also use “cookie” technology to enhance your experience, but we do not use cookies to collect personal information. FaceValue uses cookies that are session-based and persistent-based. Session-based cookies exist only during one session. They disappear from your computer when you close your browser software or turn off your computer. If you have chosen to identify yourself to FaceValue, we use session cookies containing encrypted information to uniquely identify you. Each time you log into a FaceValue Site or Service, a session cookie containing an encrypted, unique identifier that is tied to your account is placed on your browser. These session cookies allow FaceValue to uniquely identify you when you are logged into our Services and to process your online transactions and requests. Session cookies are required to use FaceValue services. Persistent-based cookies remain on your computer after you close your browser or turn off your computer. Web beacons may be used alone or in conjunction with cookies to compile information about customers and visitors’ usage of FaceValue websites and interaction with emails from our company. Web beacons are clear, electronic images that can recognize certain types of information on your computer, such as cookies, when you viewed a particular website tied to the Web beacon, and a description of a website tied to the web beacon. For example, FaceValue may place web beacons in marketing emails that notify the us when you click on a link in the email that directs you to one of FaceValue’s websites. When you opt-in (sign up) for a newsletter or agree to receive email, we may use a “click-through URL” to track links that you click. FaceValue seeks to guard your personal information. FaceValue partners with other companies, such as Salesforce.com, to jointly offer products or services. If you purchase or specifically express interest in a jointly-offered product or service from FaceValue, we may share data about you collected in connection with your purchase or expression of interest with our joint promotion partner(s). FaceValue does not control our business partners’ use of the data we collect about FaceValue customers, and their use of the information will be in accordance with their own privacy policies. FaceValue may occasionally share your personal contact information with other companies to provide services on our behalf. We may also provide selected information to companies who provide services such as website hosting, answering customer questions about products and services, and sending information about our products, special offers, and other new services. We will only provide those companies the personal information they need to deliver the service. They are required to maintain the confidentiality of the information, adhere to the FaceValue Privacy Policy, and are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose. FaceValue may share data about our customers with our providers so that these service providers can contact customers and visitors on our behalf. FaceValue uses a third-party service provider to manage credit card processing. This service provider is not permitted to store, retain, or use billing information except for the sole purpose of credit card processing on FaceValue’s behalf. FaceValue reserves the right to use or disclose information provided if required by law or if FaceValue reasonably believes that use or disclosure is necessary to protect FaceValue’s rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process.
Customers may update or change their registration information by editing their user or organization record. All FaceValue emails include opt-out mechanisms so that you may change your preferences. To discontinue your account, please email support [at] FaceValue.info or call +31 (20) 3449070. Requests to access, change, or delete your information will be handled within thirty (30) days.
FaceValue will not review, share, distribute, or reference any customer data except as provided in your Master Subscription Agreement, or as may be required by law. In accordance with the FaceValue Master Subscription Agreement, FaceValue may access customer data only for the purpose of providing FaceValue services, preventing or addressing service or technical problems, at a Customer’s request in connection with customer support matters, or as may be required by law.
FaceValue uses robust security measures to protect customer data from unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and help ensure the appropriate use of customer data. When FaceValue services are accessed using Internet Explorer version 7.0 or later, Firefox version 2.0 or later, or Safari version 3.0 or later, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology protects customer data using both server authentication and data encryption. These technologies help ensure that customer data is safe, secure, and only available to the customer to whom the information belongs and those to whom the customer has granted access. FaceValue implements an advanced security method based on dynamic data and encoded session identifications, and hosts its websites in a secure server environment that uses firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other advanced technology to prevent interference or access from outside intruders. FaceValue also offers enhanced security features within our services that permit customers to configure security settings to the level they deem necessary. Customers are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of their usernames and passwords. Because FaceValue uses our own services to maintain data about FaceValue customers, this information is secured in the same manner as described above for customer data. These privacy guidelines are communicated to every FaceValue employee. FaceValue does not knowingly solicit personal information from children or send them requests for personal information. Although FaceValue takes significant precautions to protect your security, we urge you to take every precaution to protect your personal data when you are on the Internet. Change your passwords often, use a combination of letters and numbers, and make sure you use a secure browser. If we are going to use your personal information differently from that stated at the time of collection, FaceValue will attempt to contact you via email using the most recent information we have.
